Mobility-1st online in Greece

32nd primary school of Piraeus

Our school has participated in various activities related to STEM and Robotics (European Code Week, STEM Discovery Week, Scientix, and Wro Hellas Competition) during the last seven years. We have the label STEM school as well as eTwinning school. We have won nine European eTwinning labels and a national eTwinning award in 2019 with our STEM program. We participate as partners in Erasmus programs. We belong to the European Ossos Schools (open schools) with STEM programs. For the second year, Erasmus groups are operating at our school and most of our students (145 out of 220) participate in them. Our school is one of eight schools awarded by Cartoon Network Climate Champions and the Climate Action Project. We participated in the action Trees for Europe and Let's Do It Greece with the theme of environmental awareness.

Online meeting to discuss the details of programming the 1st online meeting in Greece, 26th of March 2024.
Day 1: During the first day of the first activity the aim is to create a good working relationship and get to know each other to establish a solid and supportive working environment for the duration of the project.
Day 2: On the second day, the Eugenides Foundation Library (https://www.eef.edu.gr/en/the-foundation/library/) will support us with material on the book The High Mountains. The aim of the lecture is to teach students to function as a community and cultivate socialization and ecological awareness.
Days 3 and 4: Teachers and students have been educated on the following Web 2.0 Tools to enable students to present their work in multiple digital forms:
- Blogspot: Google's free blogging platform that allows you to create a blog from a template and/or custom code. It enables teachers and students to share their produced articles online.
- Genial.ly: a website that makes creating presentations, infographics, and other stunning content possible. It enabled students to make short but impressive presentations of their produced articles.
- Wordart: a gallery of text styles that can be added to publications to create decorative effects. It enabled students to present their produced articles in an original way e.g. speech clouds.
- Canva: a free-to-use online graphic design tool used to create social media posts, presentations, posters, videos, logos, and more. It enabled students to create their own posters, infographics, advertisements, brochures, etc.
- Padlet: a Web 2.0 Tool that allows its users to post together on a digital bulletin board (videos, texts, images, hyperlinks, files). The articles produced by the students will be presented in the form of a flipping book with the help of a Book Creator -tool.
