Scientix-Nature based solution-Life terra

Scientix is the leading science education community in Europe.

Over the past 14 years, Scientix has worked to advance STEM education on a global scale, providing a range of resources and services with a particular focus on four core areas of activity.

These priorities are defined in close consultation with the Ministries of Education STEM Representatives Working Group and focus on improving STEM education at all levels, linking STEM education to global challenges, widening access to STEM careers and facilitating exchange and peer learning among STEM educators.

This year, during the STEM Discovery Campaign 2025, a big part was dedicated to environmental issues.

The Scientix STEM Discovery Campaign 2025 was a joint international initiative co-organized with the NBS EduWORLD project. The initiative invited educators, projects, organisations, libraries, schools, universities, youth clubs, and all interested stakeholders across Europe and beyond to celebrate careers and studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Two members of the 4 Steps 4 Changing Our Lifestyle Erasmus projects participated in this campaign using our learning scenarios, and they were awarded for their efforts.

The awarded teachers participated in a workshop in Brussels, where they refined their Erasmus good practices by incorporating outdoor environmental activities into their lifestyle, while also enhancing their teaching profile as European educators.

They have also participated in online seminars on MOOCs, focusing on nature-based solutions and Life Terra.
